The Dawah Challenge

"Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good instruction, and argue with them in a way that is best. Indeed, your Lord is most knowing of who has strayed from His way, and He is most knowing of who is [rightly] guided". [Qur'an 16:125]

We are suffering a great disease of two extremes. On the one hand the ummah suffers everyday from poverty, occupation, and mass killings. On the other hand, the ummah in the Western lands are preoccupied with seeking the comfort of the dunya and battling to hold on to Islam.

Ramadhan comes to us as an opportunity for a new beginning. An opportunity to show Allah (swt)vgoodness from ourselves, seek forgiveness and guidance from our Lord.

To ride out these extremes requires the believer to have complete faith in Allah (swt) and the strength to get through and come out stronger.

Whatever the nature of our test, it will always go back to the point that we are here in this world as a temporary stay, just passing by like a traveller who takes shade under a tree and then moves on.

Allah (swt) will test us. But He (swt) will always look after Islam and make it truimph. The question is; are we going to be a part of the success story?
